How to Get There +

The KINTEX venue is accessible via public transport. From Incheon International Airport (ICN), the journey to KINTEX takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Take the AREX Airport Railroad Express to Gimpo International Airport and transfer to Line 5 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway, heading towards Banghwa. Change at Songjeong to Line 3 and travel towards Daehwa, alighting at Daehwa Station, which is the closest stop to KINTEX. Alternatively, taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available from the airport and within Seoul, offering a more direct but potentially more expensive route.

For athletes competing at KINTEX, staying in the Ilsan district of Goyang-si offers the most convenience, placing you within easy reach of the venue. Look for accommodations in neighborhoods like Janghang-dong, which is directly adjacent to KINTEX and offers a range of hotels. For dining, the area surrounding KINTEX and the nearby La Festa and Western Dom shopping districts provide abundant options. You'll find everything from traditional Korean barbecue (galbi, bulgogi) and hearty stews (jjigae) to international cuisine and trendy cafes. Exploring the local food courts within the shopping centers can also be a quick and affordable way to sample various Korean dishes before or after your race.
