The 2026/27 HYROX season is moving fast, with major updates to the elite calendar and new developments in global hybrid racing. News & UpdatesThe Malaysia Triathlon Association has officially sanctioned the REDLINE Fitness Games in Kuala Lumpur as its first Hyatlón event. Rather than building a new circuit from scratch, the Malaysia Triathlon Association brought an existing commercial race under federation governance, drawing over 6,000 participants to the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre on 25 and 26 July. MTA officials Chan Wai Onn and Joyce Ho Chai Yoong served as official event observers, signaling the body's commitment to supporting this emerging discipline. Via @malaysiatriathlon. The Elite 15 is moving off the cruise ship and back to dry land. HYROX announced that the season opener, originally slated for the Mein Schiff 4, has been relocated to Hamburg, Germany, for the weekend of 28 October to 1 November 2026. Organizers cited concerns that variable conditions at sea would prevent a consistent standard for elite competition. The race will now coincide with the traditional Hamburg event, and the qualification points cut-off has been pushed back by approximately one week to 6 October, offering athletes more time to secure their spots. |
