For athletes competing at the Sydney Showground, staying in or around Sydney Olympic Park offers unparalleled convenience. Look for accommodation in the immediate vicinity, or consider nearby districts like Wentworth Point or Rhodes for easy access. These areas provide a range of hotels and serviced apartments suitable for pre-race rest. When it comes to dining, Sydney Olympic Park boasts several options, from casual cafes to more upscale restaurants. What your training plan covers
A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.
Pure Running
Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.
Functional Station Training
Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.
Compromised Running
The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
"I was skeptical about another fitness app, but TrainRox is different. It's built specifically for HYROX, not adapted from generic CrossFit templates."
