How to Get There +

The nearest major airport to Puebla is Hermanos Serdán International Airport (PBC), approximately a 40-minute drive from the city center. From the airport, taxis or ride-sharing services are the most convenient way to reach the venue. If arriving by bus into Puebla's main bus terminal (Terminal de Autobuses de Puebla), you can take a taxi or ride-share directly to Av Ejercito de Ote. Public transport within the city can be complex, so ride-sharing is recommended for direct access to the venue.

City Guide: Puebla +

Expected weather in May: 17-28°C (63-82°F), 60-80% humidity

For convenient accommodation near the venue at Av Ejercito de Ote, consider staying in the areas surrounding the Centro Histórico or Colonia Los Sapos. These districts offer a good mix of hotels and boutique options, placing you within easy reach of the race site.

When it comes to dining, Puebla is a culinary paradise. Don't miss the chance to try the region's famous mole poblano and chiles en nogada. For authentic local flavors, explore restaurants in the Centro Histórico such as El Mural de los Poblanos or La Fonda de Santa Clara for traditional dishes. For more contemporary takes on Mexican cuisine, the areas around Zócalo also offer excellent choices.

Flexible Training Schedule

What your training plan covers

A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.

Pure Running

Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.

Functional Station Training

Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.

Compromised Running

The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.

"I was skeptical about another fitness app, but TrainRox is different. It's built specifically for HYROX, not adapted from generic CrossFit templates."
