When you arrive in Nice for HYROX 2026, consider staying in the Carré d'Or or the Vieux Nice (Old Town) for proximity to the Parv. de l'Europe and vibrant atmosphere. These areas offer a range of accommodations, from boutique hotels to apartments.
For refueling, explore the Cours Saleya market in Vieux Nice for fresh produce and local snacks, or find excellent Niçoise specialties like Socca and Salade Niçoise at traditional restaurants within the old town. What your training plan covers
A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.
Pure Running
Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.
Functional Station Training
Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.
Compromised Running
The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
"I was skeptical about another fitness app, but TrainRox is different. It's built specifically for HYROX, not adapted from generic CrossFit templates."
