For athletes heading to HYROX Birmingham 2026, prioritizing accommodation near the NEC is key for a stress-free race weekend. Consider staying in areas like Marston Green or Sheldon, which offer convenient access to the venue. The immediate vicinity around the NEC provides several hotel options, making early morning check-ins and post-race recovery much easier.
When it comes to dining, you'll find a range of choices both within the NEC complex and in the surrounding areas. For quick and easy meals before or after your race, explore the food courts and restaurants within the NEC itself. What your training plan covers
A HYROX race demands more than just running or lifting. Our training plans balance three types of work so you arrive race-ready for every lap and every station.
Pure Running
Running makes up more than 50% of a HYROX race. We build your aerobic base and pacing strategy so you can hold a strong pace across all 8 km of running.
Functional Station Training
Targeted strength and conditioning for the 8 HYROX stations. Sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg.
Compromised Running
The true separator in HYROX. We program running intervals on fatigued legs to simulate the demands of running immediately after completing a station.
"I was skeptical about another fitness app, but TrainRox is different. It's built specifically for HYROX, not adapted from generic CrossFit templates."
